# Zokai — The Sovereign & Verifiable AI Workspace

Zokai Station is an AI workspace for professional work with a proactive assistant built in. It prepares the day, works across mail, documents and spreadsheets, and turns recurring work into workflows that wait for human sign-off. It runs on infrastructure the customer chooses (own hardware, own data centre, a chosen provider, or dedicated servers operated by Zokai in Germany) and keeps a hash-chained, append-only record of everything people and the AI do.

Status: Early Access. Available to selected organisations through commercial pilots. Scope, hosting, support and pricing are agreed per pilot.

## What it does
- Morning briefing across mail and calendar; books meetings on request
- Spreadsheet analysis with real formulas the user can check
- Document drafting with full change history
- Workflows with approval gates, test runs on past events, and plain-English corrections
- Missing a function? The assistant builds it as an inspectable script

## What the customer controls
- Where it runs (hosting jurisdiction is the customer's choice)
- Which AI per task: Air-gapped (fully local, nothing leaves), Private hybrid, Frontier
- What the AI may do (tool allow-list; sending, booking, approving wait for a person)
- Open, standard file formats

## How to start
Start with one sensitive, recurring process for four weeks; keep everything else. Zokai runs alongside existing email and office tools. Mail/calendar: Gmail and Google Calendar today; Microsoft 365 in development. Data in via file upload (Excel, CSV, Word, PDF) and standard exports.

## Community Edition
A separate, free, open-source (AGPL-3.0) developer workstation exists on GitHub. It does not include the workspaces, automation or audit trail of Zokai Station, which is commercial.
